Here's a kit we make and provide to military survival school trainees around the country via their BX. This compact kit weighs only 1.5 oz. and measures 2.75" x 1.25". Inside the clear plastic vial we provide 8 lb. Monofilament line, 2 size 10 snelled hooks w/ leaders, 2 size 10 or 14 trout flies, 2 size 7 split weights, 4 size BB split weights, 6 mini marshmallow baits, 2 matches and a straight razor blade. This kit is not nearly as complete as our #550067 Fishing kit, but is a good choice if size and weight are a consideration in your survival kit.
